Reception with a curved desk behind vertical slats, Gynecology Clinic, Marousi – IDYLI Architects
The brief

A former office in Marousi, reshaped into a calm gynecology clinic.

The transformation of a former office space in Marousi, Athens, into a contemporary gynecology clinic designed around functionality, privacy and a calm patient experience.

The Birth of Venus concept draws inspiration from Botticelli’s iconic painting and the organic movement of the sea, foam and coastline. Curved forms, soft boundaries and fluid transitions shape the interior, while an understated palette of off-white, pearl and soft sand beige creates a serene visual identity.

Matte mineral finishes, subtle reflective surfaces, tactile textures and warm integrated lighting introduce softness without compromising the clarity required in a medical environment. Reception, waiting and consultation areas are connected through a consistent architectural language that moves away from the conventional clinical aesthetic.
